As has been the case for much of the last month, Liverpool won which means Manchester City now needs to do the same to return to first place in the Premier League. City went from first to second with Liverpool's 3-2 win at Newcastle on Friday, and three points on Monday against Leicester City will get Pep Guardiola's team back into the top spot with one game remaining.

Only a victory will help City, while Leicester City looks to spoil the team's title chances. It's worth noting Leicester actually beat City 2-1 on Boxing Day.

Manchester City: A draw is pretty much the same thing as a loss here, as it would see Liverpool in sole possession in first place ahead of the final matchday of the season next Sunday. If City wins its next two games, it wins the Premier League. It's plain and simple for Guardiola and company. Win or win.

Leicester Cit: The Foxes have been up and down all season, evident by the 15-6-15 record. While this team is far from its Premier League-winning days, it's still in stable condition and every year its stays in the top flight is a good year. But floating around mid table isn't what this team expects. There is still a chance to finish as high as seventh, but they've got to win the last two.

TEAM NEWS

Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne will miss a third successive game on Monday night because of a hamstring injury.

Midfielder Fernandinho is still nursing a knee problem and remains a doubt, while Claudio Bravo is a long-term absentee.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has reported that there are no fresh injuries in his squad.

The only players unavailable to him are Daniel Amartey and Matty James.

Even though referee Scott Foster seems to be as big of a name as Steph Curry and James Harden right now, we'll focus on the players here, though.

Kevin Durant and Harden will duke it out again as the two both scored 35 points in the Warriors' Game 1 win. And Curry could be due for a big night at Oracle Arena.

While grabbing a win in Game 1 was big, taking a 2-0 lead in this best-of-seven-game series would be huge for Golden State.

Stephen Curry scored 25 points and the Golden State Warriors hammered the Houston Rockets, 112-92, at the Toyota Center on Friday night in a rematch of last year's Western Conference Finals.

The game was close early, with the Warriors holding a 30-29 lead after one quarter of play.

Then, Golden State locked in defensively.

The Warriors held the Rockets to 15 second-quarter points and took a 57-44 edge into halftime as a result.

The lead continued to balloon in the second half, with Golden State leading by as many as 25 in the fourth period.

The Warriors shot 46 percent, committing only eight turnovers.

Warriors vs Rockets Live

They needed overtime to do it, but the Houston Rockets got a much-needed victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of their second-round series on Saturday night.

Kevin Durant and James Harden dueled in the second half, and in the end, it was the reigning regular season MVP who got the better of the reigning Finals MVP. Durant finished with 46 points in yet another brilliant postseason performance, while Harden led the Rockets with 41 points, nine rebounds and six assists, including two clutch baskets late in overtime to help seal the win for Houston. Harden and Co. also got a bit of help from Steph Curry, who botched a dunk in the closing seconds of overtime, after which the Warriors essentially conceded.

With the series now 2-1 in favor of the Warriors, each team will be eager to pick up a win in a pivotal Game 4. Can the Rockets defend their home court and even the series up at 2-2? Or will the Warriors take a commanding 3-1 lead back to Oracle Arena for Game 5?

Warriors: Ever since Kevin Durant arrived in Golden State, there's been a running discussion about how much his accomplishments matter due to the fact that the Warriors have always been Steph Curry's team. But regardless of where you stand on that debate, it's time to recognize that without Durant the Warriors would be in a world of trouble against the Rockets. He's averaging 36.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in this series, while Curry has been struggling, going for just over 18 points a game and shooting 25 percent from 3. And of course, there was Curry's missed dunk late in overtime in Game 3 which sealed the Warriors' loss. Regardless of the simmering debate about who's the better player, the Warriors need both of them to play well in Game 4.

Rockets: The Rockets aren't quite as good this season as they were last season, but they've shown throughout this series that they're still capable of challenging the Warriors. After two tough losses on the road in Games 1 and 2, they bounced back with a clutch win in Game 3 to keep their season alive -- at least for now. But they'll need another win in Game 4, or it's going to be awfully tough for them. Yes, the Warriors have a history with blowing the 3-1 lead, but the Rockets can't expect that to happen again. Aside from another strong game from Harden, the Rockets also need someone else to step up and help him out. In Game 3 Eric Gordon poured in 30, while Iman Shumpert provided a surprising spark with 10 points. Whether it's them, or someone else like Austin Rivers or PJ Tucker, the Rockets need solid performances from some of their role players.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Live

The stars have lived up to the hype through the first three games of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics and there is no indication that they plan on slowing down as things move forward.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will not be denied. The Greek Freak put on a show during Friday's Game 3 against the Celtics, scoring 32 points, pulling down 13 rebounds and dishing out eight assists in the 123-116 Bucks win. He got help from unexpected places, as Pat Connaughton and George Hill combined for 35 points off the bench.

The Celtics' bench was almost non-existent, as Gordon Hayward (10 points) and Semi Ojeleye (six points) were the only non-starters to score in the game. They'll try to right the ship in Game 4 on Monday.

Here's everything you need to know about the second-round series between the Bucks and Celtics.

Storylines

Bucks: Head coach Mike Budenholzer led the Bucks through a remarkable regular season campaign in his first season with the team and Milwaukee had the best record in the NBA. It also didn't hurt that Giannis Antetokounmpo had another MVP-caliber season and didn't even have to do a whole lot during their first-round series. The Bucks will certainly get a much stiffer challenge this time around when facing the Celtics.

Celtics: Meanwhile, the Celtics were expected to be one of the top teams in the NBA this season. However, Boston struggled to find consistency throughout the majority of the year, but really excelled in their opening round series. Kyrie Irving was sensational despite the team not having Marcus Smart as he deals with an oblique injury. It'll be interesting to see if the team continues to thrive on both ends of the floor as they did against Indiana.

Bucks vs Celtics Live

The Milwaukee Bucks have taken control of the series they once trailed, thanks to two consecutive wins over the Boston Celtics.

Leading the charge for the Bucks was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who imposed his will in Game 3 with 32 points on 8-of-13 shooting along with 13 rebounds and eight assists en route to a 123-116 win. The Bucks also got a tremendous lift from veteran guard George Hill, who added 21 points off the bench.

The Celtics got 29 points from Kyrie Irving, but their star only connected on eight of his 22 shots for his second straight inefficient performance on the offensive end.

The Bucks will look to win their second straight at the TD Garden on Monday night and take a commanding 3-1 lead back to Milwaukee for a potential series-closing Game 5.

Bucks: Milwaukee's depth was on full display in Game 3 despite Eric Bledsoe and Brook Lopez combining to score just 16 points. The Bucks received a huge boost from George Hill (21 points) and Pat Connaughton (14 points) off the bench. If Milwaukee continues to get significant production from their second unit, it's hard to imagine the Bucks going down as long as their starters are also producing.

Celtics: Meanwhile, the Celtics really have to come away with a victory in Game 4. Irving was quick to point to the officiating slowing the game down, but he's going to have to come up huge if Boston wants to avoid this series getting out of hand. One of the positives from Game 3 was the team shooting 40.0 percent from deep and if they can get similar production from that area in Game 4, it could certainly bode well for the Celtics.
